Die SimObjectDisplayEngine wurde auf die Version 1.6.3 aktualisiert und steht zum Download bereit. Es gibt ein ziemlich langes Changeslog. Spannend dürfte für viele wohl sein, dass GSX nun wieder unterstützt ist und SODE in der neuen Version in der Lage ist, die Jetways nach dem Engine Shutdown und dem ausschalten des Beacon automatisch anzudocken. Wenn es nach dem Beboarding weiter gehen soll, reicht das einschalten des Beacon und die Fluggastbrücken fahren wieder ein. Damit dieses Features aktiv ist, muss man “Automatic docking of jetways based on aircraft state” in den SODEPlatformManager > Settings aktivieren.

- Manually via the SODE text-menu
- Automatically using aircraft state variables (Parking brake set, all engines off, beacon off for docking; beacon on for un-docking)
- Added check for crossing jetways when using auto-dock feature
- Refactored and improved the entire jetway logic code
- VDGS
- Added MD-80 series and Concorde to list of supported aircraft
- Fixed VDGS activation logic when aircraft is already parked at stand
Gut, dass man das automatische Zeug abschalten kann. Dass man die Jetways selbst bedienen konnte war doch ein Riesen Gewinn
Naja, Piloten kümmern sich normalerweise nicht um Fluggastbrücken 😉 Ich bin sehr froh wurde dies automatisiert. Fehlt nur noch das automatische De-Boarding in GSX!
