REX Game Studios announced today that they will support the new PMDG 777 Winds Export feature in their REX product line (http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com) for FSX and Prepar3D.
In addition, REX GAME STUDIOS will be implementing GFS (Global Forecast System) GRIB model data into their products. This data will be updated four times a day. The majority of the data will be used for upper level winds and temperatures aloft. Users will have the option to use real weather balloon data or GFS forecast data.

Also Opus nutzt GRIB Data auch schon ewig, gefühlt seit Jahren…
Nur als kleiner Hinweis an die beiden Kommentare vor mir: Dass jemand GRIB-Daten verwendet, ist eine sehr schwammige Aussage, GRIB ist ein Datenformat und sagt über den Inhalt ersteinmal nichts aus. Mit anderen Worten: ja, Opus und ActiveSky verwenden GRIB-Daten für die Upper-Air-Winds, aber nein, sie verwenden keine GRIB-Daten, die Daten von Wetterballonen enthalten.
Einfach zu sagen “GRIB hat Opus schon lange” usw. ist in diesem Zusammenhang leider falsch.
